Weddings at Mountain View Farm include use of the property from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon plus additional time for engagement portrait sittings. Every Mountain View Farm wedding includes your choice of ceremony location, ceremony seating and set-up, use of Mountain View Home for two nights, full use of the property for the reception, and a day of coordinator to manage timing and vendors so all you have to worry about is enjoying one of the most important days of your life.

Before Your Wedding

Property walk throughs to choose your perfect ceremony site;

Lots of hand holding and organizing advice;

Friday and Saturday night use of Mountain View Home (sleeps six);

Portrait sitting on property grounds;

All the rehearsal time you need.

Ceremony

Dressing areas for bridal party and groomsmen; 

Ceremony seating for up to 300 people (church pews, benches or chairs);

An experienced coordinator to manage vendors and make sure everyone gets to where they need to be on time.

Optional add ons including use of our horse drawn carriage and livery team.

Reception

Full use of the property for the reception;

Tables and chairs for sit down dinners and less formal dining options;

A dance floor under the stars;

Attractive yummies to make sure the farm’s horses hang around to delight guests;

Beautiful Setting

Spanning 100 acres, Mountain View Farm provides several charming options for ceremony sites including a floating pier on our seven acre lake, serene wooded glens and beneath the towering limbs of an ancient oak tree. We also have romantic inside options available – either as a first choice or a rainy day contingency.

On the day of your wedding, we have a professional coordinator on site to manage the schedule and handle all of your outside vendors, so the only thing you need to worry about is enjoying one of the most important days of your life.

Relaxed Atmosphere

Mountain View Farm provides a peaceful setting for brides and bridesmaids to enjoy the lead up to the wedding without the stress of rushing. Because the property is yours from Friday afternoon – including Friday and Saturday night use of Mountain View Home – everything you need can be brought a day in advance for a smooth, worry-free event. 
 
Mountain View Home is a two story Southern Living style house that sleeps six, has enormous windows with stunning views of the farm and lake, and lounge areas both up and downstairs. Perfect for a final evening of fun for the bridal party.

Endless Fun

Receptions at Mountain View Farm are just plain fun. With so much space to work with, the sky is the limit when it comes to creative possibilities. 

The inside venue seats up to 240 for a sit down dinner and the large covered porch outside seats up to 60. The beautiful wooden dance floor under the stars has seen its fair share of fancy foot work over the years. Some of it good…a lot of it bad…all of it joyous.

Our horses particularly love reception parties. It probably has something to do with the fact that we leave lots of yummy treats for them on their side of the fence.

Unlike Anywhere Else

While the bridal party has the run of Mountain View Home, a separate building serves as a gathering place for the groom and groomsmen. The Gulf Station is a refurbished tobacco shed that has been transformed into an iconic local landmark filled with early-to-mid 20th century collectibles. Like everything at Mountain View Farm, the Gulf Station provides a relaxing and fun atmosphere to make your day memorably perfect.
