Photo Shoots

Mountain View Farm has served as a location to showcase the work of multiple photographers. Some of our favorites:

Photographer: Renee Sprink

“Winter” was my greatest inspiration for this elegant styled shoot set on a vast North Carolina farm. I was influenced by the cool grey and lavender tones of a winter sky, and incorporated those hues into the whole aesthetic. On the day of the shoot, our mid-February Carolina sky gifted us with silvery-lilac casts indicative of snow, and optimal for lighting our scenery. It so happened that snow was another great inspiration for my vision in this shoot, which reflected in the pops of white florals, the fluffy layers of our stunning Vera Wang bridal gown, and the desserts frosted to mimic snow covered hills.

Photographer: Live View Studios

The inspiration for this bohemian, art-inspired, color rich styled shoot was multi-faceted just like any boho bride. As an avid art connoisseur acquires his collection over many seasons and through many life experiences, I wanted this shoot to have a curated, layered look. All the details combine to create a lovely, eclectic environment that’s as free-spirited as the horses in the field.

What is so special about Mountain View Farm NC? Every now and then I have a vision and a need to create a shoot that is just for me. Mostly to practice certain new techniques I learned, build my portfolio, or satisfy the hunger for creating something new. This time I wanted to create a boho stylized wedding with all elements that come into planning a real wedding. The moment I saw the grounds, I knew it was a perfect choice. The grounds are breath taking with pastures, horses, a pond, gazebo, huge old oak tree, and mesmerizing cottage.
